On our last day, while taking a bath, water suddenly stopped for about 10 mins, contacted concierge and was corrected after 5 more minutes.

My stay was quite disappointing. Yes, it's an antique, old hotel. The room was dirty, and the sheets were soiled, requiring me to request a change. Even the towels were dirty and old; their whiteness had turned gray; you wouldn't want to touch or use them, and the floor mat was so dirty. The housekeeping person tried their best to deal with it professionally and changed everything they could. They even gave the excuse that management had ordered new towels and they were still waiting for them. The bed was also uncomfortable. This hotel needs to change everything; modernization is needed to preserve the antiquity of this beautiful building. While some renovations are visible in areas like the restaurant and corridors, it's not enough. I think the concentration should be on the rooms. A hotel's primary purpose is for sleeping, showering, and eating. The window view faced a dirty wall and cables, entirely unlike the misleading online photos. I also experienced noise from guests and staff in the morning. Finally, the front desk refused a late check-out, even for a fee, giving an excuse that conflicted with room availability shown on travel apps. Overall, it was a poor experience that did not match online representations, and this hotel is overrated by previous guests. The reviews are false. I would rather pay extra for comfort than seek out what is supposedly an "authentic" place like this.

family room were not good and its in the ground floor
IEThe rooms are bigger than most hotels. Although they look a bit outdated, room is clean and neat. The breakfast buffet is ok with a little of everything I wanted , I loved the hot tableya chocolate drink. The desserts were yummy. The staff were accommodating and nice. Overall it's a clean hotel and I had a great stay.
The elevator , it's a bit small otherwise ok.
