I traveled to Durban with family and dear friends. We felt welcome and cared for every momement. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. The common spaces are gorgeous and relaxing. The Ridgeview Lodge takes the second B in B&B very seriously. We enjoyed unforgettably delicious breakfasts each morning, complete with crumpets!

Our stay at Ridgeview Lodge was wonderful. The rooms and other hotel facilities (lounge, bar, dining room, swimming pool and garden) are perfect. The reception by the owner and support staff was excellent. We had trouble with our car and the host was extremely accommodating, patient and supportive in providing information to assist us. We were given information on things to do in the area. The breakfast is delicious and generous. Overall, a short but awesome stay. We hope to come again.

Ridgeview is a gem, situated conveniently, well maintained and managed. All round a good place to stay.

Brilliant lodge with a lot of charm. Nicely situated close to city center. Quiet area. Breakfast had the extra touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostess, Vas, is a charming woman and the perfect guide to talk about Durban. Very knowledgeable about South African history and political development. Don’t miss the chance to talk to her
