The hotel is in an excellent location across the road from the monastery.There is also an excellent Sunday market in the square outside the monastery.The rooms are a little dated but comfortable and well built so no disturbance from adjoining rooms.There was a function in the floor below when we arrived but the music was off by bedtime.Aircon in the room worked great as did the mini bar. Plenty of pressure in the over bath shower and very hot water.Beds were comfortable.I noticed central heating radiators so clients should be warm in winter.Breakfast was plentiful and of a decent quality.We had parking in the garage which is an extra cost but kept the car cool.

We were encouraged on booking to upgrade to a room with a terrace which we booked.Problem was there was no seats or a table so really a waste of time except maybe for a smoker to enjoy a smoke.I wouldn't recommend paying the extra for the terrace.

The staff are efficient and friendly.
