Hotel Santa Maria

Unbeatable location almost opposite the Alcobaça Monastery, a Portuguese National Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We were fortunate to be allocated a front facing room with an amazing view of this stunning building. Considering the location, the cost of our 3 night stay was very reasonable. Easy walk into town. Free parking is limited out front but also available above and behind the hotel. Covered parking at ground floor level is also available for €8 per day. Decent sized room and bathroom. Breakfast is included in the price of the stay and is adequate.

Despite a 3 night stay, and a Portuguese wife, it was pretty impersonal. Don't expect much but an occasional greeting when coming and going or checking out wouldn't go amiss. Hotel is functional but could do with a bit of updating. Neither of these are a deal breaker though and the location and the price paid are adequate reason to stay there again.

Excelente localização, espaço amplo e agradável com ótima vista para o mosteiro de Alcobaça. Pequeno almoço muito muito bom. Funcionários simpáticos e bom espaço exterior de estacionamento privado
