The room , staff and location were perfect. Except there was a late bar, across the narrow street, from by bedroom window. I was woken up every night by nighttime revellers.

There isn't much the hotel could have done. It is a historic building, so triple glassed windows, would be out of the question, I imagine.

Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto dormire fino alle 2.00/2.30 di notte per via del locale sottostante alla struttura. Si sentiva sia la musica, sia il vociare e le grida dei clienti. Spero non sia aperto sempre, magari lo è solo nel weekend…

The hotel was in a perfect position to enjoy Lucca. We had a wonderful time! Vicky was absolutely fantastic with communication and we loved the breakfast (especially the very good coffee) every morning.. quick and easy boost before each day of discovery! We loved the medieval vibe too of our base.
