Sine Tempore

The location was perfect, with a balcony overlooking all the strollers on the Corso Italia so we could peoplewatch while we had breakfast. And the flat was ideal for a week-long stay. Francesco was extremely helpful with his tips about transport, restaurants, etc. We were very comfortable, in a very elegant buidling.

Everything was fine, once we worked out how to increase the temperature on the water heater.

It was clean spacious and very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect. Lovely terrace and having a washing machine was ideal. Franco who is really friendly and helpful was there to meet us and gives really good advice and tips.

The water pressure from the shower head can be temperamental.

Very clean. Great location. Loved the terrace. Many wonderful restaurants and things to do nearby. 10-15 minute walk to most places in Sorrento. Franco was great. He shared ideas on restaurants and things to do. He even suggested and organized our shuttle to the airport.

The water pressure was low at times in the shower.

Location, location, location. Couldn't be more central based on Corsa Italia main strip. Loved sitting on the balcony people watching and still being a part of the buzz on the street below. Quiet at night, as once the doors and shutters were closed, you couldn't hear a thing. The terrace on the roof was an ideal place to soak up the sun or check the views out with a mice glass of wine. Franco was a lovely fellow, gave us lots of tips on how to get around & where to eat too. Nothing was too much. He kindly loaned me an iron.

Great location in Sorrento, close to the bus stop and on the quieter part of the main strip. Franco was very helpful. Would definitely come back here again.

Smell of gas when the hot water was being used. Shower pressure very low

Upon arrival, the host counted and said we have 5 people, but the booking was for 4 people. We explained that no accommodation options were coming up for 5 people, and as the 5th person was an infant we didn’t think there was an issue. We said we have our own portacot and several other accommodations we had been to didn’t have an issue with it. Even the plane didn’t require payment for an infant. The host Franco ranted and raved for over an hour about this. He kept insisting that we leave, knowing that we had already paid him $4000aud which was non-refundable. As much as we would have liked to leave, this was financially not a viable option for us. Nor were there any other options in the peak of summer. We kept asking him what would solve the issue. Granted, we were also getting agitated at this point as we had 3 children who were now distressed due to this man yelling at their parents. Our two daughters were crying and he could not care less. After all the drama, he just wanted money. He had calculated that we had paid 308€ per night, which equated to 77€ per person according to his calculations. We kept trying to explain that the price is not per person but he would not let this go, and demanded at a discount rate €350 total for the infant to stay for the 7 nights (€50 per night). We paid this in full and made him provide us with a receipt. He then had the audacity to contact booking.com like we had monies owing to him. We were treated horribly by this host and he did not care that our children were crying and terrified. We were completely ripped off to pay this price for the addition of an infant who was not provided with a bed or any other items such as towels. He mentioned several times that our booking cost him 400€ in fees via booking.com and it is clear he just wanted to recoup these costs. For those who are Mould sensitive, this place is not for you. There is severe Mould that’s just been painted over.
