Great stay at the apartments. Staff was excellent and friendly. No complaints, great view ans close to everything

This room was really an efficiency apartment. It was clean and comfortable. It is listed as 2 star because it is not glamorous, but a great place to return to after a day wandering Ohrid. The balcony was great although the view was the alley below. The hotel is next to a good restaurant. Have the pizza. It is baked in a wood fire oven. The hotel owner, Saso, is great. Very helpful and a really nice guy. The apartments are well located just off the main square. You have easy access to stores and services. Good price and comfortable accomodation.

The owner could not have been nicer! What a fantastic place to stay! He came to meet me from the Taxi (as this property is just 1mins walk inside the pedestrian zone) so that I knew where to go. He gave me maps, told me all the best places to walk, he even helped me sort out my onward bus ticket as it was all in Russian print. On my last day he even got up early before 7am to drive me up the road to the bus station. This property is in a good location, is well priced and is clean and the owner really tops it off and will guarantee you a good stay. I travel over 100 days a year and am a Hotels Gold member and I barely ever write reviews but this place is fantastic.

Very double room for single use. Very quiet at night. Beds are quite comfortable. Small compact place provided everything I needed. Recommended

The owner is very friendly, greeted me by name when I arrived (rather than scrabbling for papers as is often the case even with small properties) and was available if you needed assistance. Able to take credit card payment too. The room was quite simple and not the most modern, but well equipped, clean and actually quite a lot of space. Had a fridge, sink, cutlery/crockery, and a couple of camping hobs/hotplates to use for cooking. Had table and sofa seating plus a balcony with table and chairs. The balcony wasn't overlooked by any other buildings or rooms which was really nice to have some privacy to sit out. The walls were a little thin in terms of hearing people coming/going or using the shower next door, but not in a particularly troubling way. The location was really good, just off the square with the iconic tree. They have a sandwich board on the square pointing the way (as it's just tucked round a little corner behind a restaurant) - not sure I would have found it otherwise, but once you find it it's easy. Provided a map of Ohrid and some tourist info. Sure he would have provided more if I had asked. Helped with bus info to get to next destination. I would stay here again.

The location is both outstanding - if you don't have a car - as it's just at the main square of Ohrid (Chinar, where a nice promenade starts, leading to the lakeside), and annoying - if you do have a car - since there absolutely is no true free parking place there and even nearby (sometimes no place at all). So you have to rely on the owner to take care of the parking place for you (he does that pretty well, but you'll have to find him every time you need to park). Either way, note that it's about 5-10 minutes walk from the lake. Back to the owner - he's extremely kind, knowledgeable, and useful source of information. From the first moment we reached the place we've had only smiles, and found him to be a great host, who'd like to give you as much information as you can have. When there was a wifi connectivity problem, he immediately solved it, and gave us some good advises about Galicica NP, St. Naum, Bitola, and generally about driving in the country.. I can only wish to have similar hosts everywhere I stay. The apartment we had (stayed 3 nights) was very satisfying. It was a good-size, yet not spacious, a nice balcony with view of Galicica NP (no lake view from the apartments in this building), and had a small kitchenette for some cooking, equipped with mini-bar, small electric stove, some plates etc. Bathroom was clean comfortable, but the shower had some minor leakage from the side.

The owner is fantastic, and extremely helpful. The location might be a bit noisy since it's in the center of Ohrid, but it's close to everything.
