Hotel Berg by Keflavik Airport

Stayed here overnight after returning from the Blue Lagoon and on our way to Keflavik International airport. About a 25 min drive to the hotel and then 10 mins to the airport, so great for us logistically. A large room and a nice hotel for the price. Reasonable block out shades for the midnight sun.

The beds were very firm. The location is a bit out of the way within keflavik, so that if you needed to go to Keflavik it's a reasonable or a short drive. Not an issue for us given our itinerary but other travellers may find it challenging.

Il rubinetto del lavabo è di difficile uso, esce praticamente solo l'acqua fredda. Prima colazione servita al tavolo, con ingredienti fissi, per cui c'è molto spreco, la navetta aeroportuale c'è solo dall' albergo al terminal e non viceversa, per cui non è molto utile.

Staff was fantastic

This is a great hotel to stay at before heading to the airport. It's an easy walk from the airport along the coast, and there are several restaurants and cafes within walking distance as well. The location made our final day in Iceland very relaxed and convenient.

The only issue during this stay was that our room had a noticeable musty smell, almost like mold. It wasn't enough to ruin our stay, but it was something we noticed right away and would have preferred not to deal with.
