I would highly recommend! The location to the airport, and attractions around the area were great. It has a beautiful view, and large heated pool- type hot tub that is open until 12am.

We were on the first floor, and there was a smell from the drain in the bathroom. Reminder to folks that you are on volcano, and might smell some sulfur. We closed the bathroom door, and the smell went away. It was not an issue for us, but might be for someone else.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were willing to change our room when we asked due to playful children on the floor above us. Both rooms, the standard and the upgraded upstairs room were large and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were reasonably priced and wonderful! And the outdoor hot pool was Excellent! Just what we needed! The provided robes were very cozy coming out of the pool into the brisk May Iceland air. The area is nice to hike around and down to the ocean, a bit more of a hike to reach the town, but the surroundings are beautiful with nice short hikes available for beautiful views!

Small detail of having only a one way airport shuttle, thought the taxi ride was short and about $30. To do again the only thing we would change is the layover length, extending it to at least 2 nights.

Close to airport and excellent infra estructure. Rooms are big and staff are amazing. The food is a must try experience as well.

Quiet location with views of the harbor. Good breakfast items. Shuttle to return to airport, only 7 minutes away.
