Madison's Mountain Retreat

Our 2 and 5 year old boys loved staying in the train carriage. Animal feeding was fun but the highlight was the pool. The enormous spa was 34 degrees and we spent hours there!

Fiona greeted us enthusiastically with our breakfast basket filled with goodies. She has also left us some delicious freshly baked cupcakes. Farm animals, quiet location, heated pool helped us to relax. The cabin was clean, spacious, and supplied with all we need for cooking a good meal & a good night's rest. The only thing was the insect net seals on the windows had gaps, so at night time all sorts of insects made their way in while we were cooking. But otherwise an excellent stay. Recommend for everyone.

Peaceful, rural getaway within easy access to the Country and mountains. Cabins were spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The place was great to stay at very welcoming n cosy for a couple with things to do there but also great for kids as we will be takeing ours back there when we go

Loved the place. It was a comfortable country themed place, very clean and staff helpful and friendly. Would go back any day. Would recommend to all our friends. Gave us exactly what we are looking for.

I stayed with my daughter and my mother for one night. We really enjoyed it. It was peaceful and refreshing. I will definitely be coming back.

We stayed 2 nights. Boys loved the bus bunk beds and the animals! Gorgeous views all over the place. Brekky hamper is a treat. Recommend checking out the botantic gardens, the view from the cafe verandah is amazing.

Madison Mountain Retreat is exactly what it says. A retreat in the Mountains, away from pesky 'real world' interferences of internet, email, phone calls, texts etc. Blissfully peaceful, rustic, but lovely cabins, lively alpacas, glorious birdsong, beautiful surrounds. The staff are lovely and friendly, and will supply basic foodstuffs (bread, milk, cheese, bacon) on requests, as well as eggs daily from their free range hens. This is a wonderful place to unwind and relax. There's plenty to do locally as well. Highly recommended.
