AUGreat location with a perfect set up for solo travellers or a couple. If you're a light sleeper like me, the train noise may be an issue but otherwise a great stay.
Train noise does wake you up. It goes until about midnight and then again early morning
CAThe location. It’s right off the main road in Manarola so you’re just steps away from the ocean and all the restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and clean. If you’re looking to stay in the Cinque Terre, we’d recommend staying in Manarola.
Since it’s right off the Main Street it can be quite loud during the day with all the tourists walking by. You can also hear the train rumbling every time. It quiets down at night so it didn’t negatively impact our sleep or stay.
CAThe location was perfect and the balcony overlooking the main street in Manarola was lovely. We could walk just a few steps toward the water to watch the sunset each night and it was right near excellent restaurants, gelato and the train station!
The A/C unit stopped working on our second day. The host was very responsive and attempted to fix it, but it wasn't functioning the remainder of our stay. Luckily it wasn't too warm so we were okay!

GRIt was 3min from the train station and at the centre of Manarola. Everything was 5min close. I would say that generally it was 90% value for money
Unfortunately there were no plates, forks, spoons, it didn’t even have a small kitchen to make an egg or a sandwich
AUGBLocation is brilliant. Right beside the train station and close to everything. We have already said we will be looking Ca’de Baran again on our return. Lorenza is very friendly and helpful. Can’t fault our service or the room at all. Air conditioning was amazing, toilet was very modern and spotless. Room overall was clean and provided tea / coffee & pastries. Lovely little table outside to sit outside and watch the world go by. We felt extremely safe as you have a gate and 2 doors to lock behind you.
Honestly, nothing. We can’t fault it. People complaining on previous reviews about the train noise. We slept right through, didn’t wake up once with it and genuinely it was the perfect place to stay.
AUConvenient location, no climbing, right at the heart of everything. Nice to wake up in the morning and sit at the balcony sipping a cup of coffee, enjoying this beautiful little fishing village in quite, before the arrival of large groups of tourists (even I'm one myself) turning it to a hot tourist spot. Room is very clean. Check in and out is smooth. We had a great stay

Very noisy location. On busiest street with big crowds and many bars/restaurants. Very close to bins that were emptied early. Poor value for 150 Euros a night.
