"Exceptional"

Nothing I didn't like. Stayed in Coral Bay once before, elsewhere, and identified that this would be the best place to stay for views and location, and it was! No complaints, exceptionally clean, everything you need on hand.

In Coral Bay, there are two caravan parks, cabins, a backpacker hostel, and this place. It is the only serviced accommodation in town. There were a lot of things we liked, and some opportunities for improvement. The Good: we were in an ocean view apartment with a full kitchen. The view was incredible. The staff was all very friendly. The location is amazing. Park the car and walk to the beach & shops. We ate at the restaurant only once for the Christmas lunch and the food was wonderful. Needs improvement: while there is WiFi, it is provided 300MB at a time via access cards. When we did connect (having to fill in the access card info each time), the signal was poor. In this day and age, WiFi isn't a luxury and this method was very inconvenient. The resort is starting to show its age. The shower head in our room sprayed water everywhere (we fixed this ourselves). The bolt/latch on the bathroom door was installed backwards so it never closed properly. That being said, we still enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning someday.

"Give it a swerve"

Clean and well located are the positives, the staff were friendly too. Hotel itself was very very dated and needs a revamp. Would recommend one of the other properties we stayed at in Coral Bay.
