Terra Linda Resort

Horrible place!!

1) My stay was horrible. Someone tried to break into my hotel bathroom window, while I was sleeping. 6am I was sleeping and kept hearing a loud noise. I got up to check and the guy had his head inside my bathroom window. He chopped the wooded shades and cut out the screen. I yelled at him and he took off running. 2) The air conditioning was loud, bathroom had bugs and spiders. 3) Security was awful. People (Locals) were inside the resort, I noticed who did not stay here. I had to pay for another hotel and spend the next 3 days at a different location because I didn't feel safe. Literally on my birthday.

Staff was excellent. TV in my room was very fuzzy. I only told them about the tv when I was checking out....I would stay there again.

This is a decent, no-frills hotel. The resort I usually stay at was full, so I spent a two-nighter at the Terra Linda. The rooms are okay; they are small but okay for a quick stay. The staff and manager are top-notch and first-class. The area is a bit noisy and not child-friendly. I was pickpocketed in the street, not at the hotel.

Air conditioner in room didn't cool. The white curtain allows massive sunlight to come into the room. You will be awoken as soon as the sun rise because the curtain is white and there is nothing to block out the sunlight.

Had an amazing stay. I will return

DO NOT STAY HERE! We had a cancelled flight and I booked this place because it is close to POP airport. It is dirty, music till 1:30 AM from an adjacent club, call girls coming and going from their gentleman callers, shower broken, 3/4" gap around main room door which allows mosquitoes in, stains on sheets, and so many more things wrong with this hotel. The street is so sketchy that we really feared for our safety! Once dropped off by taxi, no money, no clean clothes, we felt completely trapped, so we stayed. Not sure how this place gets a 7.8 rating on Expedia, but trust me, stay anywhere else, I mean anywhere.
