Hotel de Montaña El Mirador

realy enjoyable stay one night is not long enough next time will stay longer as it was just a short walk to village

The Mirador may only have a two star rating but this only goes to show that you shouldn't judge a hotel by its stars! No swimming pool, no lift, no sauna, but if you don't need or want these, the two stars are adequate! The Mirador is in a wonderful, quiet location, only disturbed by the gentle sound of cow bells. Our room had a balcony overlooking the valley which was great. The owner Alvaro speaks excellent English and was very friendly and helpful.A ten to fifteen minute walk will see you in Broto and a few minutes further to the spectacular waterfall.

Nice hotel and nice place. A little bit too much noise from neighbors and from the breakfast in the morning. The restaurant was just above our room.

A lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Good sizes rooms which are very comfortable with excellent views. This hotel is is in a lovely quiet spot with super views and is an excellent centre for exploring the Pyrenees

We followed a sign from the town of Broto, to "El Mirador" hotel hoping that it would be decent. We were pleasantly surprised. The interior was chalet style, our en-suite room was modern, spacious and light but the real surprise was the fantastic view from our balcony. We enjoyed staying here for four nights. It was a shame there was no garden, and only a tiny bar terrace. It seemed popular with Spanish tourists. Friendly owner and Guadalupe, the waitress from Argentina, was very helpful and smiley. Perfect location, on a quiet road on the outskirts of the small village of Oto (no shops or restaurants) and only ten minutes' walk from the main town of Broto. We had an evening meal twice and the food was excellent. Breakfast was not included and quite basic, expensive for what you got. Check what you pay for whenever you order anything, as it is not always clear and not in line with what is typical for the region. Also check the bill before you pay, as ours was much higher than it should have been. We don't believe this was deliberate, just too early in the morning for calculating a bill!
