Naxos Resort

Loved the location, beach and town were very close. All staff were amazing. Food was very good. Very convenient to so many different restaurants. We walked to several beaches. One of our favourite Islands so far.

The staff were extremely helpful in answering questions, calling taxis, and with looking up bus schedules for a trip to the mountain villages. Special shout out to Efie, who was so kind, cheery and helpful!

It was a bit early in the season, so the air-conditioning didn’t work. We were forced to have the windows open, and that left three of us with many mosquito bites.

The location was great, 15-20 min walk to town, the beach was right across the street. It was great

El hotel es súper bonito, pero es antiguo. El personal es súper agradable y súper dispuesto a ayudar para solucionar los problemas

Como el hotel es antiguo, necesita cierta mantención. En nuestro primer día el lavamanos estaba goteando (lo solucionaron al segundo día, llegamos en la noche) luego había un problema de agua caliente (tambien se soluciono pero nos bañamos con agua fría) y luego la calefacción no estaba disponible (nos toco días frios). Nos ofrecieron más frazadas. Son detalles, que gracias a que el personal tiene mucha buena voluntad se pudieron arreglar pero de todas formas falta para que sea una puntuación de excelencia

Staff are all excellent, friendly and professional, very attentive, specially restaurant/bar staff are all very friendly and helpful, which made our day. Pool was good. Room was nice, bed quite comfortable. It is located about 10 minutes walk from the old town, which makes it nice quiet location, but just 2 minutes walk from a beach. There are very good restaurants nearby. Overall, I was happy with our decision to stay at the Naxos Resort.

Generally very happy with the hotel, but there were a few times we felt 'ah this could have been better/attention to detail was missing' such as no curtains/blinds for small windows in our room, so we got woken up as the sun rises every day. Bathroom Cleanliness was another-our showerhead looked like it needs proper bleach or descaling, and also shower itself showing a bit of wear and tear. Cupboard door had a design faux pas- it kept banging on the part of the ceiling. The fridge cupboard had ants in it (it is a hot country so not a huge issue for us...but it would have been nicer not to encounter them in a room!) These points did not ruin our holiday, but it would have made our stay more worthwhile, we thought. Also, I am sure it would have been rectified if we told them, as staff are very willing to help.

Location was good and good breakfast

The hotel is nice overall. It’s located in the nice area with close proximity to shops and restaurants and the Pier. Buffet breakfast (eggs, sliced meats and cheeses, bakery goods) is good with great coffee! Bed, pillows and towels are nice and soft. Nice and quiet.

Please do not waste your money on eating at the hotel besides the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, I got the dinner option, thinking it was buffet style, which was not, and got extremely disappointed all weekend we stayed there. Decided to give a shot for a second night after first night extreme disappointment, per manager’s suggestion. But should have canceled and got my money back at the first night. The food was so bad, microwaved and it wasn’t edible. All of it. I never ate a bad Greek meal but here it was! I couldn’t believe the Greek person can cook like this. Disappointed that I didn’t get my money back. Also, maybe we didn’t get the memo because we were the only people eating at the hotel restaurant, while all the restaurants outside were having waiting lines! It should tell you something.

The hotel was close to the beach and the pool area was great.

The rooms are a bit date but comfortable
