Right by the beach, good food and drinks

Bed uncomfortable, the TV and hot water weren't working when we arrived though both were fixed promptly after we mentioned it. Shower head was very unclean.

Some might call it "brightly colorful," others perhaps "Central American vibrant," we say "wonderfully retro." Even though it's reminiscent of an 80s disco, you can tell it's only about 20 years old. It's also incredibly well-maintained, with perfect paintwork. Everything else is great too. Very spacious rooms (unfortunately, we accidentally booked two queen beds instead of one king). Our bungalow was right on the beach, with a lovely garden in front of the terrace. The sound of the ocean was constant. The bathroom with its shower (and double vanity) is the highlight. There's a separate drinking water tap. Coffee and tea are provided. The service was very friendly, both on days when we were practically the only guests and on other days. Breakfast is served à la carte, with a selection of about 10 options. Delicious and plentiful. (But be aware, additional items are available for an extra charge). The à la carte dinner is also very well done (and not more expensive than usual for the region). Yes, it's not a tourist center, a rather sleepy little town, but that's exactly what we were looking for: peace and quiet on the miles-long beach. Plus, it's only an hour's drive to Manuel Antonio.

Traumhaft,….alles war perfekt!!! Wir hatten einen Bungalow am Strand, die Zimmer sind sehr groß, sehr ansprechendes Design, große Sitzgarnitur, kleine Küchenzeile mit eigenem Trinkwasserhahn, wunderschönes großes Bad mit mosaikumrandeter Dusche mit Blick auf einen eigenen Garten. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, alles ist sehr sauber und der wunderschöne Garten und das Pool werden ständig gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und mehr wie ausreichend. Der Strand ist traumhaft, schier endlos, wir nahmen täglich gleich morgens ein Wellenbad im Pazifik. Es hat uns so gefallen, dass wir 3 Tage verlängert haben.

The room has plenty of space for my family, pet friendly, the food was delicious, it is close to the city, staff is very nice and respectful

Our first night was very uncomfortable due to insect stings from bugs in the beds. We addressed the issue with repellent and new sheets and it wasn't a problem on our second night.

Todo muy bonito, la piscina es amplia y los senderos son bonitos, fui con mis perritas y fue fácil llevarlas. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy bonitas, las camas cómodas.

El restaurante no tiene mucha variedad de comida y los precios son muy altos a comparación de otros, nos tuvimos que trasladar a otros lugares para almorzar.

Amazing stay at Alma del pacifico hotel. Beach front bungalows are great, Staff is very nice and the beach in front of the hotel is just incredible. It was the perfect stay to end our trip in Costa Rica. Hope to be able to come back.

Un lugar hermoso. Las habitaciones limpias, lindas, amplias y privadas, la nuestra estaba frente al mar y se veía excepcional. La atención del personal muy calida y atenta. El desayuno estaba delicioso, a la carta lo que para nosotros fue un plus. Si decides salir a comer fuera, cerca del hotel como a 5 minutos en vehículo hay un centro comercial súper lindo con varias opciones. El hotel es hermoso, súper recomendable
