Residenza il Duomo

Vackert gammalt hus. Mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Läget kan inte vara bättre - mängder av restauranger nära. Många trappor, ingen hiss. Ligger inne bland mycket smala, pittoreska gränder. Härlig takterrass där en bra frukost serverades.

this hotel will not suit all,you have to climb up three floors to it them another steep flight to roof for breakfast which is great if weather is good as its all open.the breakfast was very good and i liked the way its served ,are room number 4 was one off the best. very large with small balcony over looking the duomo and the bathroom was also a good size. best points are right in the centre of town,staff and our room worst points the stairs and no lounge.

Just got back from my stay at Residenza il Duomo. What a great hidden treasure this B&B is. The enterence looks like something taken from a movie. You go up the stairs and on the third floor is the actual B&B. The room was very nice and had everything that you need, including a flatscreen TV and DVD with souroundsound. Also free Wi-fi that worked very smooth/fast - workes even sitting on the roofterrace. The room was very clean and the people working there; Alfredo, Massimo and the ladies were very friendly and helpfull. The best is the roofterrace where the breakfast is being served...man, what a view and a great breakfast as well. Looking over the rooftops and the ocean while having your breaksfast with swallows circle around in the sky is amazing. I sure will go back to Tropea and I will definetily stay at Residenza il Duomo again. Top notch!
