Purhus Kro

Lovely place in the countryside. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very friendly hosts.

The only things I missed were kettle in the room, with tea/coffee, and a small fridge/minibar

Close to the highway, but in a quiet area with beautiful surroundings in the country side. Great hospitality, very good food - we appreciated the stay and had a very good night sleep.

The room was clean and the size was good, anticipate that the room will be renovated later. Bear in mind that Purhus Kro is ancient, one shall not expect Today's standard.

Quiet. Peaceful. Friendly. Delicious food. Dinner was exceptional and true traditional Classic Danish cooking. Breakfast was sumptuous and different delicious.

Rooms are quite dated and stark but functional.

This was a good location for a stopover on the way to Hirtshals. It is a quiet location with free parking. Ext to the hotel. There is a nice restaurant on site where we had a good meal.

Location close to the highway was very good in our case. The staff was very friendly and did an excellent job. Food served was also very good, and the breakfast was excellent.

Room and single beds were a bit dated, but overall it was OK

Nestled in the Danish countryside, Purhus Kro was a great spot to spend the night and recharge on our road trip. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the breakfast had plenty of options. Would stay again!

Conveniently placed close to the motorway exit, but in a very quiet rural setting. We were made to feel very welcome, and the owners spoke excellent English. Our room was comfortable - just a shame that the chair smelt, so presumably the previous occupant had a dog. Our food at dinner was delicious and the breakfast was outstanding. There was an enormous range of food laid out and all beautifully presented.
