Fairfield by Marriott Port Clinton Waterfront

Very nice. On shore of Lake Erie. Port Clinton was a nice town.

Beautiful view, friendly and clean. The vacation trifecta

The view of the lake was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Location was great right on the water, this was a perfect view.

Well the friendliness of staff, I know the employee was new. But she wasn't happy when I asked questions. I was told how great the pool area and the pool is. The area was terrific, nice and warm. But trust that the pool was ice cold. Then the towels, u should put soemthing at check-in about used towels, and that there is only a hand towel and a washcloth in the room and both was used with makeup and soemthing else on them. When I went downstairs to sadly have to ask for CLEAN towels and to let them know there was dirty towels in the rm. No one said anything about the dirty towels. No apologizing or abythjng

Always had eggs, a meat & yogurt . I suggested before that y’all adopt a bread (Holiday Inn’s sweet rolls, Bob Evans banana bread) but was told was not really corporate’s thing. Have rooms overlooking lake but we did not get one as we had requested-BUT the manager reminded me we did not book thru their website, too bad 🫩.

Needed a thorough cleaning. I realize y’all had just gotten past the Mayflies but cobwebs in the pool area holding dead Mayflies & on the outdoor furniture were a turn-off. The local high school kids had not gone back to school yet & most school districts want seniors doing 20 hours of community service so y’all have free labor for the summer, battling the bugs. Exterior paint started peeling in front.

We loved that the property fronted Lake Erie. It’s a beautiful setting!

Nice breakfast and over the view of the lake

The property was clean. But the lakeview room I payed for, was mostly of a brick wall. And our room was next to the staff work room, and we were awakened both mornings at 5am with loud banging and talking, while they prepped for breakfast. Not pleasant for celebrating my birthday and our anniversary.

The view was awesome!

Everything was great except for one thing. There was no power outlet or usb connection near the beds. Never have i seen this. I need my phone next to me to sleep and the nearest usb was by the desk.
