"Exceptional"

the hotel staff were welcoming and the village was delightful to wander round in the evening. The dinner in the restaurant was as good as we hoped it would be . likewise the breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable.

"Brilliant food and lovely hotel rooms"

After travelling for 3 hours,we arrived at this cosy ,welcoming hotel,looking forward for a great nights sleep ahead.The restrant had food that you could never dislike and the beds were very comfy and relaxing.As a family of 4,we had the only room with 4 beds And we had a balcony that opened up to the beautiful french world beyond.The only thing that disturbed me was the flashes of light that came though the curtains and annoying loud noises coming from below.All in all,I would greatly recommend this lovely hotel ,situated by lots of attractions.Amazing placex Amelia (aged 10)

"A true Auberge...."

We upgraded ourselves to a family corner room, warm night but the fans did their job. Very nice restaurant, excellent service. We happened to be there when France won a match, so 5 cars passed by with cheerful sounding! Just fun.

"Good not great"

We enjoyed our stay! Site was comfortable. Staff generally helpful, but was a little weird about some requests. For example, when asked for ice to chill a bottle of wine, we were given a dog bowl with some ice. That wasn't really appreciated

"Exceptional"

Excellent location for visiting various chateaux in the region. Free car parking just across the road. Wonderful restaurant on site and great selection of croissant, breads, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits etc for breakfast each day

"Overnight Stay"

Very comfortable room and bed. All very clean with tea/ coffee making facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff, very good continental style breakfast. Car parking just opposite the hotel . Very good restaurent on site serving good local produce. Excellent for one night or longer stay to visit Loire Valley. Villandry Chateau 100 m walk!

"Great alue"

Had a lovely spacious clean and well equipped room. The down side is that it is up a wooden winding steep staircase. Very quiet, with kettle hairdryer etc..good breakfast and helpful staff. Very well located for the chateau of villandry.
