"Poor Customer Support & Mediation"

My flight was cancelled at the gate (strike, last minute). Called the hotel to see if they could please cancel my booking (I was pretty gutted as I had missed a wedding and all costs related to airport and taking days off from work). The hotel straight declined my request, taking 100% of what I had paid. I must have booked via Booking at least 50 times in the past, never had a property being so not empathetic/understanding. I would have been OK would have they even offered me a stay with them in the future with a small percentage off, even a 10% reimbursement would have made me a 'happy customer'. They completely disregarded me, showed poor, greedy customer support and no willingness to try to find a workaround.

"I had a great solo stay!"

Comfortable clean single room, I had everything I needed and bonus for the slippers! I enjoyed the simple Italian breakfast of coffee, pastry, yoghurt, toast and fruit. Great location for the main sites and amazing dining (everywhere!). Friendly and capable staff. Would recommend.

Nice personal, good complementary breakfast, near the city center and near the train station. Very clean.

It was relative noisy outside because of the restaurants on the street (at least at the weekend), despite the room being on the 5th floor, and closed window helped only a little bit.
