very nice room for our overnight stay in Scotland clean and comfortable, nice touches with water and chocolate. Enjoyed our whisky day at whisky experience.

The room was cosy and quaint. The bed was comfy. The towels big and fluffy. It was a shared bathroom. It was modern and immaculately clean. The location is brilliant.

Place is very clean and well kept, looks fancy and it is close to city centre, station and main attractions. Shower runs well, hot water available, beds are clean and comfy. Only downside there is no luggage storage at the property before check in or after check out. Backpackers hostel however allows you to leave luggage there for 5gbp all day, while station is quite expensive (12.50gbp from 3 hours onwoards).

Great property centrally located in Edinburgh's New Town area near George Street and Queen Street. The hotel provides a modern clean and comfortable room with all the essentials; but with none of the additional unnecessary frills. Ideally suited for solo travellers / couples who want to make the most of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Train and bus stations all within a 10/15 min walk, great bars and restaurants on your doorstep and Old Town 20 mins walk away, Haymarket 10 mins walk and Leith 30 mins. Staff are very friendly and helpful in person and by phone. I would not hestitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.

Extremely conveniently located. Lovely spacious room with some nice extras. Very well renovated. My only complaint is that you can hear absolutely everything going on in the building and the self check in/out is very impersonable. With the cost and location though I can live with that.

The room was comfortable - and most importantly, clean. Other visitors arriving in the wee small hours were not entirely welcome, but I recognise that happens..

So clean convenient

The location was perfect for sight seeing as well as Waverley train station. The room itself was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I wish the shared bathrooms provided foot towels and a shelf to store your toiletries and clothes, as that proved to be a problem. However the water was warm, so that’s always a plus. The whole place has recently been refurbished, so it was very nice to stay in overall.
