Room had bleached mop smell put me off

Very modern Bedroom & Bathroom in a quaint and friendly old pub , and the liquid refreshments weren’t bad .

Lovely clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Only problem for me was bed was a bit too high had to manoeuvre myself onto it ,husband found it a perfect height. Once in bed it was extremely comfortable and slept really well . Breakfast options good and portion sizes excellent

The Pub of the year has great rooms and an excellent restaurant - a great place to stay.

Lovely staff, breakfast and room. It is advisable to book a table for dinner as soon as possible, it is a very busy pub, and even if you are staying there, there is no guarantee you will get a table. The reception on the TV, was not very good, it kept freezing and pixelating. Very comfortable bed and the room had air conditioning.
