Elliott House Boutique Inn

Nice room and nice common area. Unfortunately the room was surrounded by extremely thin walls and all the sounds from the person above could be heard. The creaking floor boards (my ceiling) and room noises kept we awake. The walls were so thin with little to no noise insulation that I could hear the babbling water fountain outside...you can imagin the road noise that found its way into the room. Also there were floor vents heating the room (great.....but the problem was that there was no way to control the vents, no thermostat) so I was bouncing between too hot and too cold when they would decide to go on or off with me having no way to control it! It was a miserable experience, the management should really fix the noise issue and put in a thermostat for the room.

We had a wonderful time here before and look forward to returning. We were thankful that when we found our room unsuitable that they were able to change our room. We also liked the decor of the room.

Clearly there are new owners and its no longer a bed and breakfast type of hotel. For the price breakfast of old fruit, packets of oatmeal and who knows how old muffins is not breakfast. That is a continental breakfast which again for the price of the room was subpar. Also our room had lots of cobwebs and felt like it needed a good cleaning. The first room we were in had dead bees on the bed and a buzzing sound in the room. So when i called the only option was to change rooms because they have no one on site or local to handle these things. Our room had cheap things to try and make it better but that didn’t fit the style of the room like a metal shelf unit to hold the coffee supplies, microwave and mini fridge. It made it feel tacky. Again for the price please provide better snacks than target cheap water and coffee. The “smart tv” was old and small. The bed was hard and my back hurt in the morning. The whole stay was disappointing.

Self serve breakfast and snacks with lots of options to choose from. Quite surroundings, ease of parking, chatting with other guests

Very nice staff on the phone, helped me figure out where to check in right away. The place is small and cozy so it was quite, and the room was absolutely adorable, would definitely stay again ❤️

We were staying at the main house which the breakfast area is below us. We can hear people starts talking at 7ish to 9ish am. That just woke us up totally. We were hoping to have a nice n quiet relaxing morning so we can sleep in. The room is small for the price. Can make the bathroom n closet to be smaller so the room is bigger. The mattress is too soft. Breakfast is good and outdoor area is nice to sit n chill.
