Horrific hotel - door didn't lock, bed was small and uncomfortable and management were unhelpful. We ended up going and paying to stay at another hotel at extra cost due to the low quality of this hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED

Clean, quiet and central. A very good budget hotel.

Very comfortable and staff were very accommodating. Good shower too.

Valued, but it's quite hard to open the door by key and it has some noisy from next door. However, overall is good.

Room was clean and tidy but very dated and creepy. We had the front room by the door and the windows were only tinted to around chest height, meaning we had to keep the curtains shut at all times so people outside couldn't see straight in to us. The lighting in the room was very dim and yellow. We knew it was further out from Edinburgh City centre but it was definitely further than we expected, and the '20' minute walk is more of a 40/45 min walk. The bed wasn't comfy and the duvet wasn't warm - there was also no option to not have someone make the bed (we don't like people being around our things and usually leave out a do not disturb sign when we visit other hotels). We had booked for 2 nights but ended up booking onto an earlier train home so we only had to stay 1 night.

It was a nice hotel but wifi did not work in the basement room I stayed for 2 nights and this was a let down. You have to pay extra to access wifi but then I did not pay for it in the end. Staff was courteous and helpful.

A pleasant place to stay. Very close to where we needed.

Everything we needed from a hotel. Was able to park the car just. Easy access to local buses.

A polite lady greeted us, then we were shown to room 7 which was in a basement, very dark,very small and very hot, there was a window however it meant there was very unpleasant odour coming in the room. The towels had pink stains on them, so we left very early to drive to Hexham to have a shower as I would not let my family use stained towels. I know the Edinburgh Tattoo was on however to charge £191.00 is outrageous nothing like the photos on your website

Small rooms, small hard beds, moldy bathrooms. Don’t waste your money. Go to a nice hotel. Worst place we encountered on our 11 day trip through Ireland and Scotland.
