King's Rest Motel

Was a clean and good size room for staying for one night.

Bedspreads were stained and torn. We refused to stay there.after seeing two such rooms. Proprietor said he would contact Expedia and cancel the charges. Apparently that did not happen. I am disputing the charge to my credit card.

Too noisy

The first room i got the bed had mud all over it and the shower had nasty dirty muddy towels in it someone else had stayed in the room and it was not cleaned after so ghey gave me another room with no towels

I loved staying here! I needed a little vacation for a few days so the Kings Rest was a good pick. The owner man working the front desk was very kind. I had read some reviews before & they had said it was dirty but I don’t agree. It was very clean & my expectations were met. Yes you can hear people but that is only if they’re loud! If you turn on the AC/Heater you’ll be just fine. I would love to stay here again!

Very clean and newly renovated motel.Easy to find location. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

There was no coffee in the room. The shower was a little tight.

I can not make this stuff up. I showed up to check into my room & it was a disaster. The 1st room she gave me a key to smelled so bad. With all due respect it smelled like a homeless person had lived there for months. I couldn’t last 1 minute in that room before requesting another room. I don’t know why she would just try to pawn a smelly room on to me but I wasn’t having that. So I requested another room and then she gives me a key to a room where a couple is literally sleeping in the bed. That was too much. Now I had all my red flag sensors on. I would have found a different place there but I had already been billed so I proceeded to find a room for my short stay. At last, she gives me the key to the room right in the middle of the 2 rooms from before & it is a normal small motel room. I went on to go to work as a filmmaker and the whole time I was working I was wondering whether someone might have accidentally received a key to my room and stole all of my stuff or my clothes. I will not return & this place gets 2 thumbs down from me.

The room was dirty when we arrived. Trash was not emptied and there was empty beer cans in the refrigerator. Towels had some big holes in them. There are no lamps so you have to keep the ceiling light on. You have to pay to use the ice machine. The beds were comfortable. Location is close to many things so that was nice!
