The location is excellent, Great Lake views, friendly staff, comfy bed, and clean

Fantastic location by the lakeside. Within 3 mins walk to central. Room is clean. Cooking facilities available. No regrets staying here. Only stayed for 2 nights. Should have stayed longer.

Location and view, very warm, clean and comfortable and able to relax looking at the lake.

Amazing view of the lake right outside the main window. Great location and so close to the playground and town centre.

Lake views were stunning. Short walking distance to town. Rooms were quiet! Pillows and Bed were very comfy!

Great location! Walking distance to town and about 20 mins walk from the tree. Clean with a great view of the lake.

Recommend staying at the Moorings despite the somewhat dated rooms. Do not get me wrong, the room are still in extremely good condition and the housekeeping does an excellent job of keeping the place spotless. Good views of the Lake Wanaka and a short drive to Roys Peak and other hiking trails. Do ask for a warmer room if you are coming in winter though, the heater seemed to struggle to keep the room warm.
