Comfort Hotel Bayer's Lake

We absolutely love this hotel! This is already our fourth time staying at the Comfort Hotel Bayers Lake, and we keep coming back for a reason. The staff is always lovely, but we want to give a special shout-out to Jess at the front desk. She welcomed us warmly and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her outstanding service made our stay even better. Breakfast is fresh and good Highly recommended!

I want to congratulate everyone working at this hotel for doing an amazing job! All teams, cleaning, maintenance, breakfast, front desk and management, they are all making sure we have the best experience as guests. We could really feel that they cared. Room was immaculate, breakfast was delicious and different every day, pool was really warm and so on. Best experience!

Wife and I were looking for a place away from the crazy of downtown where we usually stay and this was an amazing choice. Bed was comfortable (my wife who doesn’t usually sleep when we’re not home actually slept), we were still close enough to food and shopping. The hot water was actually hot, the entire place was clean. Staff were amazing and helpful.

The housekeeping was a little erratic. They came everyday but always seemed to miss some little thing. Something different ever6 day. Toiletry replacements, bed poorly made, dirty mugs not removed nothing serious On the other hand they would never left the tip we left everyday, clear,y labeled

Location to friends that I was visiting. Very good front desk staff and exactly what I was looking for in an accommodation.

There needs to be either an anti slip coating on the floor of the bath tub or a rubber mat to save from slipping. Grab bars don't help when you have soap in your eyes and shampoo on your head. I am a 77 year old female with an artificial hip, I slipped twice and the grab rail did me from falling. My friend and I were there for two days but I did not use the shower the second day because I feared falling. I have 23 years in the wilderness tourism industry here in BC and while my facilities were modest (our guests wanted the wilderness experience) the showers in each cottage had anti slip rubber mats on the floors. Cheaper by far than a personal injury suit.
