"First stop on my holiday in SW Scotland"

The same room that I had last time I stayed. The TV remote did not work properly but the buttons on top of the little portable TV did. Good shower. Breakfast was just what I wanted.

Having to drive 15 miles to get something to eat in the evening (the hotel 3 miles away which does evening meals is closed on Sunday evenings).

Susan was lovely and cooked a fabulous breakfast including my daughters, who is a vegetarian. The hotel is nice and clean - a little dated - but very comfortable and welcoming.

We had a great room up in the roof, good for us but would have been a problem for someone near 6feet tall!
