Clean and comfy, and not too pricey

Pool has a lot of wear, and is never open. Opens from 10 am so no morning swims, and it's only open a couple days a week, so trhere's a good chance you won't be allowed to use it if you're there at the wrong day

bed wasnt a king, it was 2 singles together, became uncomfortable

Very close to a nice park and the family room we stayed in was quite large.

Felt run down and and old.

Location, and clean room

Apologize for this ,but I'm a psychic personality. The vibe coming from premises,requires a cleansing of the premises. Easy to fix as the under current is quite new .Local Iwi will understand what can reverse the nature of the disturbance.

Very friendly staff, handy location, 60's vibe. Good size room. Renovated bathroom.

The bedroom is looking tried and worn out, and it needs renovation. Need to sort out the signage ( too many little notes stuck about the place- do's, dont's, and warnings). Pool and grounds need attention.

Unfortunately there was a very disturbed young woman in one room who made a lot of noise, shouting and swearing. The police were called in the morning and later in the day she was taken away, presumably to get help. So not a lot of sleep for us. The place is clearly used as a refuge for people needing assistance, several of whom appeared to know each other, calling from room to room etc. Our room was adequate if dated, but the whole experience was not a good one for us and we cancelled our second night. To be fair, the owner was doing her best and even offered us a refund, for which I am grateful.

The location was perfect. It was walking distance to the Fickling Convention Centre where the expo I was attending was held and the Royal Oak supermarket was an easy walk away. The bed was super comfortable and there was a full sized stove and oven as well as a microwave. Free wifi was included and used.

The water pressure in the shower was not great and the interior decoration was very dated but did not affect the comfort of the unit. The curtains do need some attention though as the hooks were falling off making them hard to open and shut.
