Findon Rest Ltd

An excellent location in Findon Village. My wife and I and two friends booked two rooms for one night ahead of the funeral of a close friend. The night before the funeral we had a delicious meal at an Indian restaurant (Tajdar) in Findon Village. We initially had a problem with the operation of the heating in one room but it was quickly resolved by the management team.

I was in room 2. The room was bigger than expected with a king-size bed and also a single bed. There were loads of extras provided, which included an iron, ironing board, ceiling fan, free standing fan, hairdryer, and a small but tatty sofa. There were tea and coffee making facilities, a tv and toiletries provided. It was a room with character, wooden beams on the ceiling, the bathroom was nice with a good shower.

The room was cold when I arrived and although the radiator was plugged in I was unable to get it working so I was cold all night. The WiFi signal was weak so I used up data on my phone. The tv was o, but there was no Netflix, BBCi player, etc. A simple welcome pack with instructions on how to turn the heating on, where the nearest pub and restaurants were, etc. was not provided.

Lovely place to stay. I came down for a party & loved my stay in 3 The Rest. Comfortable, clean & a great location

They need hanging rail & coat hangers in wardrobe Mirror in bedroom next to hairdryer I did use the little Mirror in the bathroom

The heating was hard to work out how to get it to work .the settee was well worn .reported the fan heater in bathroom did work the reply i got was we have to order one so we had 5 days of no heater in bathroom which was well cold . Also the decking was very slippery i actuly slipped over the lack of lighting outside was very poor

Quiet location close to convenience store/Post Office, Dee Dee's Cafe, The Gun Inn and Tajdar Indian restaurant. Number 1 Findon Rest is cosy with a very comfortable double bed, internet tv , hot drinks making facilities, good walk in shower etc.

Needed a refurb, no fridge, tatty furnishings could hear everything from upstairs including shower
