I love the fact that this characterful, friendly country pub is just 10 mins off the M5 junction 14, so I’ve used it many times to break my longer journeys. And the food is great too

Good value, great breakfast, good evening meal. Very nice, helpful, staff. The room was comfortable, but looked tired.

The room was in need of a facelift and our bathroom smelled of drains.

Disappointing cooked breakfast - very meagre and no beans! Needed to pay a £4 supplement for a “classic” breakfast

Room was great, staff were great as was the food.

The bathroom shower and toilet flushing mechanism both need attention.

Every single member of staff were a credit to themselves and the business; they were so polite, kind and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean.

We were in one of the annex rooms, the partition walls were so thin we could hear lots of noise from the room next door. Stale biscuits, too.

Staff very lovely. Big, clean, quiet, airy modern room. Very comfortable. Nice breakfast - good choice on menu. Free parking.

Comfort of bed is subjective but a mattress topper would make it more comfortable. Non slip bath surface wasn't fully non slip and a rubber mat would have made my wife feel safer.
