Argentino Hotel Casino & Resort

Hotel é majestoso e bucólico, inaugurado em 1930. Sua estrutura está carecendo de manutenção e renovação em todos setores, tanto nos quartos quanto nas areas comuns. É um predio muito bonito, espaçoso e confortável. Café da manhã continental simples servido na mesa, com poucos itens. Quarto com colchões, lençóis, toalhas e tv muito antigos.

Hotel muito velho, manutenção precária, não recomendo

Hotel super antigo, sem manutenção, chuveiro horrível, elevador de filme de terror Atendimento muito bom, café bom ( suco, leite, cafe, vários pães, presunto e queijo)

It is an amazing place, classic building and large premises with beautiful gardens and an excellent location in front of the sea. But they have not invested in years in rooms and maintenance and it shows. Kudos for the people working there, they do their best but the place needs a lot of money to be up to speed. Breakfast could offer some healthy choices.

Bed too small, shower head broke spraying water up onto the ceiling. Was hoping for a nice dinner, but only bar food, and not many other choices, so ate elsewhere.

La Reserva decía claramente que incluía desayuno continental y almuerzo. Se negaron a dar almuerzo porque la reserva se hizo a través de Expedia (“si es de agencia no incluímos almuerzo”) El baño de la habitación super mugriento, y eso que estamos en pico de covid en Uruguay!!! Limpieza es un tema obligatorio!!! El desayuno que incluyeron un pan rancio y un queso que sabía feo, como viejo. Todo horrible, lamentable que es un Hotel con tanta historia….!!! Tienen personal inepto y un desagradable trato al cliente.

This is a beautiful hotel that it’s like a step back into Hotel California ( like the song). It was the grand dame of its day about 100 years ago. The lack of upkeep is a detriment and we know it must be very expensive to keep up a hotel this large. The staff and pool are very nice. if the past lives in you it will be a great place to visit and you will thoroughly enjoy it. If you need more modern conveniences this is not the place for you.

Me gustó mucho el estilo y la gran libertad con la que nos movíamos de un lugar a otro del hotel, con una asistencia cordial pero nada intromisiva, la fusión de las comodidades modernas con los espacios mas grandes, el silencio y la limpieza, el mobiliario acorde con las necesidades. Todos los empleados bien educados y serviciales pero no melosos o serviles. Las vistas, tanto al frente como a las sierras, la piscina y posibilidades para discapacitados y niños. Una gran variedad de entretenimientos. No sé si en los meses de frío será tan atractivo.

Great hotel, even if it has seen better days. Only steps from the beach. Pool and grounds are gorgeous. Staff is polite and helpful, always available. Rooms are spacious and sparse, with lots of old world charm. Staying at the Argentino is like stepping back to a more gracious era. Hope its former glory is never destroyed by future renovations.

Un gran hotel con rica historia. Excelente servicio. Podría decirse que en algunas cosas es un hotel se época. Muy disfrutable
