Single bed were not long enough for an adult male.

I got a complimentary upgrade and all facilities were very comfortable and worked well.

Lovely location.

We reported no hot water and a smell from the drain in the en-suite the first day and subsequent days. The smell was so terrible we had to leave a towel over the drain and the door shut the whole time. We left four days later, still no hot water, the drain was still putrid and no one ever came to look at it, let alone fix it. Better instructions for the TV would have been great.

The Mon Komo apartment exceeded our expectations, the apartment was clean and well presented. There was plenty of storage space to make our week comfortable. The apartment had clean and practical furniture e.g. lounge, dining room, outside dining space and lounge set. The kitchen was well equipped - with a fresh dishcloth, as well as dishwashing liquid. The culterly and crockery were also clean (no smell) and so was the fridge. A generous quanity of tea, sugar and milk was also provided. We also appreciated the washing machine liquid. The main bathroom also had tubes of shower gel, hand lotion, shampoos and conditioners, as well as spare loo paper and soaps. Having two toilets was also a great surprise. We liked that there were multiple doors leading onto the balcony and that we could see a bit of the pool and bay from our patio. We enjoyed some of the places to eat nearby and thoroughly enjoyed the Redcliffe Market. Visiting Bee Gees Way was also interesting. The pool was perfect for cooling down. Staff also kindly arranged a third card to permit my sister-in-law to visit and park in the carpark for our stay - a generous gesture. The hotel was clean - the cleaning staff work hard to keep up a high standard in the building. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Guests were lovely too, especially in the shared pool area. Woolworths was within walking distance (we drove) which made purchasing some groceries easy.

We did have a noise complaint, while two - the one was not related to the Mon Komo. The second one was not handled well by the Receptionist even after 3 complaints. However, the Receptionist was new to the role and inexperienced. This was raised with the Manager the following morning and the Mon Komo sorted out the problem straight away. They do have strict noise rules, and were going to retrain the staff member - which made a difference. We were also offered a refund for that night - which I declined, but, I appreciated the gesture. The Komo's (downstairs restaurant) food was rather bland, the space is lovely, but I would not recommend eating there -which is unfortunate.
