"Our stay started off on a bad note but it quickly became an okay stay."

Friendly staff and very accommodating. I came to them with a problem I had in one room with the mold and they instantly moved me to a new room.

The first room we were put in had so much mold all over the bathroom. The phone in the room didn’t work but the mold was the biggest problem! We came on a weekend that there was a kids baseball tournament im assuming and kids were playing “ding dong ditch” both days on my rooms.

When we’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn in the past, it was much nicer - fancier/updated, the staff was super friendly and went above and beyond for guests, the pool was clean, etc. This stay was very average, staff was nice but did not go above and beyond, the pool was a huge disappointment - green and not maintained but nothing was stated about the pool being closed on the website.

This is an older hotel and could use some upgrades but was acceptably clean. The breakfast was very good and food well prepared and maintained.

The staff member who was on duty when we checked in was not particularly welcoming and really didn't know how to handle things when she could not find our reservation. I addressed this with another staff member the next morning and she assured me this person would be retrained. It is not Hampton's way to not be welcoming to guests and attempt to solve issues rather than tell the guest flat out they didn't have a reservation when you actually do. Also the tub in the room we were in was very slick ~~ this could be a safety feature.

My priority was finding a safe place to stay near Little Rock. The hotel is located in a great area and I felt very safe. We were super excited to be greeted by friendly staff and yummy fresh baked cookies. We asked the front desk associate to recommend a good place for dinner and she gave us an AMAZING recommendation that far exceeded my expectations. This hotel was also a great value for the money.
