Older hotel but responsive staff in a cute town

Very quiet. Friendly hosts. Comfortable beds.

TV didnt work, but they replaced it for me. Shower I had to get help to turn it on. Freezer was frosted up, but I rated service high because the wonderful housekeeper helped me with several issues.

Property is an older, motel-style place but clearly being run with care. Very hospitable & communicative for service. Room/property was exactly as described and a good value for the price paid

Clean rooms and great value for your money. American owned and operated. Quick exit off of I-80 in the small quaint town of Avoca Iowa. Great restaurants close by as well as a nice park. Antique City is on exit away in a lovely little town of Walnut Iowa.

I love the old-school motels where you can park in front of your unit and unload easily. It feels safer somehow, and I like to be able to keep an eye on my car. This spot is a cute woman owned motel. She has a decorated with very cute coverlets, but it otherwise harkens to the mid century when the spot was built. It’s a bit shabby but very clean and it feels very safe. I would stay again without hesitation.
