the hotel was excellent... a bit difficult to find in the dark....stayed there because of the previous positive comments and we were also very impressed.... I would recommend this gem to other travellers. The owner is very accommodating and wants his guests to enjoy their stay.

The rooms were pretty and spotless, the owner staff were very friendly and helpful.The Saint Bernard was a joy - I wanted to take him home. My only quibble, and I should have mentioned this to management, was that the windows did not lock, leading my husband to move the dresser in front of our bedroom window as we had a small child with us. Not exactly an area where one imagines a break-in could happen, but one can never be too careful. The walls are thin, as mentioned in other reviews, and the people in the room above us kept us awake until 3am, but the little one slept through it. If you go, request an upstairs room with the balcony, if for no other reason than to have no one overhead!

This is great place to stay: the building are made from timbers and everything looks very natural. You will see very friendly French man who is either owner or administrator of the hotel. The rooms are clean. Many flowers outside the building. in the room you will find a stove with oven, small fridge and all necessary utensils. You can enjoy the glass of wine outside sitting on the table in front of your room and enjoy the night and fresh air. The only problem for us was to find this hotel. we were driving in the dark and GPS did not recognize the address shown on the hotels.com. Make sure to find this place on your GPS before your trip. Overall impression was very positive. Now we know the location, so we can stay again there.

My wife and I spent two nights here, very large rooms with a balcony for each room, laundry services, beautiful spa and excellent hospitality.

The hotel itself is lovely me and my fiancée both loved it and we stay in a lot of hotels like maybe 20 in the past twelve months as we work away a lot. The owner doesn't speak great English as he is from France although he assured me his wife who was away during our trip does. After we got past the language barrier he could not do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. We both are hoping to return soon for a longer period next time.

I was expecting something really Scandinavian! The surrounding landscaping is not finished yet. This needs to be organised (parking spaces, BBQ area, private outside space belonging to which room. Hey speak about Sauna and jacussi. It is so small that i don't see how they could fit all their guest in it. The reception is lousy and don't feel confortsble when you arrive. In the living space you have the third bed with an ugly open wardrobe in the middle. A closed wardrobe with two folding beds would be much nicer. Get efforts have been done but the owner with little investments could do much better.

My husband and I chose this hotel as a stop along the way to PEI. The hotel was right off of the interstate and is near a gold course in what seems to be a residential neighborhood. The rooms were beautiful, very clear and it had all of the amenities we needed. This would be a great place to stay with the family or as a couple.
