A brilliant hotel,brilliant location - we've had a brilliant time! We definitely will be staying here again.

We wanted a quiet stay for two at the end of a conference... we wanted a room close to the old town restaurants and shops, but on a quiet street... the room met our expectations, and then some. Our room was on a side street with no car traffic, quiet even with the window open to the summer night. And the restaurants and pubs in the old town were just around the corner, not two minutes walk. The room itself was charmingly decorated, unique, equipped even with fridge, microwave, hotplates and all cookware. Small bath but nice shower head. Comfy bed. Nice night, reasonably priced. Loved it.

My Lithuanian friend invited me to see her beautiful country. We chose Skapo Apts because they were central. They were central indeed! Just off Pilies street on a mostly pedestrianised street, there was very little if no noise from cars. The apartments were clean and very comfortable. Kitchen had been kitted out with the essentials, tea, coffee, sugar, kitchen roll and bin liners. The bathroom had a continuous supply of toilet tissue, handwash, body wash and fresh towels every second day. Free WiFi in the apartment worked well. Access to a beautiful courtyard with a wooden 'lean to' with built in brick oven for BBQs. Only slight negative was the shower head didn't fit on the shower pole so a one handed shower had to do (different but not impossible) and the toasty hot water from the power shower made up for that inconvenience. The area was so central to all the monuments, squares and museums that we walked nearly everywhere. This city is cheap beyond belief if you are coming from the UK. 20 mins in a taxi = €6, 3 course meal for 2 with soft drinks at a top tripadvisor restaurant (Gabi on Mycolo street) =€34. All restaurants, bars, cafes and attractions had English speaking staff. This is a rich looking city as all the buildings look opulent but, as my friend told me, the average wage here is €300 a month so think about tipping as they are all very grateful.

First, it's an apartment rather than a hotel room. We've never experienced more "bang for the buck" at any hotel. The spaciousness, cleanliness, and well functioning appliances were excellent. There were many extras like silver ware, coffee press, plates, glasses, cups, fridge, washer, and too many others to list. The location was a 30 second walk from my favorite street Pilies with excellent bakeries, restaurants, and shops. Only one minor complaint, sounds from court yard were sometimes too loud. But no question, we look forward to more stays at Skapo!

Skapo Apartments are found off a quiet, narrow street in a very central location and provides a perfect base from which to explore Vilnius. It should be noted however that the street does not support through traffic by vehicles and turning a car is virtually impossible so it is generally easier to park elsewhere and walk the last few metres. Skapo Apartments are built around a central courtyard, which gives a sense of seclusion and keeps the noise levels to a minimum, and most of the apartments are accessed from here, and/or have balconies that overlook it. There is no lift in the building and access for the less able-bodied guest could present some issues. We stayed in one of the superior apartments, which was effectively a studio apartment with a separate entrance hall, which also contained the clothes storage for the apartment. The large, bright main room opened from this hall and contained a basic kitchen, table and chairs and a large, surprisingly comfortable, double bed. The bathroom was very small, though fully equipped, with lots of hot water from the apartment's own heater. About the only disappointment was the wi-fi, which varied between (barely) adequate and non-existent. The lady we dealt with spoke relatively little English, but was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, arranging for a late checkout since our flight home didn't leave until the late evening. All in all, we were very pleased with the apartments and would certainly stay again.

Very friendly host. Lovely yard with sitting area. Rooms with historical athmosphere. Beautiful bedclothes. Well equipped kitchen. Sometimes it's a little hard to find parking place. Dogs allowed.

This is our first stay in an apartment (rather than a hotel) and was feeling a bit apprehensive when we booked. But, in the end, this was the best place we stayed at in our 3-city trip. We arrived (unexpectedly) at 6 am, and compared to other places where you have to wait for the check-in time, the extremely nice proprietor gave us access to our lovely apartment at that early time! Check-in was painless, and the apartment was HUGE with a sitting room, kitchen/dining area and bedroom. The rooms were immaculately clean, blankets were comfy (bed was comfy too although it creeks a bit) and it's really near Vilnius's Main Street (Piles St) in Old Town so that alone was worth the price since we can walk everywhere including the restaurants, main square, Cathedral, St Anne's etc. the place is secured and we were able to walk late at night with no worries of safety etc. overall, one of the most excellent choices we made in terms of accommodations!

We love to stay in walking distance of "Old Town" areas and this apartment was perfect. Clean and quiet, a bit short on closet space. We didn't take advantage of the kitchen but it was nice, after having been traveling for a week, to have a washer available. (We had to ask for directions on how to use the washer--a pictograph sign would have been helpful. Our hostess insisted on helping us with our wash!) The bed was on a raised platform, so you need to be limber enough to climb up some steps, and to be able to climb down them at night when "need" arises. Bottom line: we would definitely stay there again.

Location couldn't be better, on a quiet street in Old Town and less than a five minute walk to Cathedral Square. Charming apartment located off a courtyard which has the enhanced security of an electronic gate. Accommodating and accessible hostess who went out of her way to be hospitable, offering assistance (calling a taxi, giving directions, offering suggestions for local events. We would definitely stay here again.
