All was great

The location was great, right in the town centre and close to local bars and shops. We visited in the winter so there was not much open and the park was closed due to snow. Breakfast and the diner on site was exceptionally good, a rare treat. All staff were very friendly and helpful. When we decided to shorten our stay to get ahead of the weather, the manager called me to make sure we were not leaving because there was a problem with the room. The bed was very comfy and the room was warm, with a table and two solid armchairs.

The hotel doesn't have a gym or a pool. We were in the main hotel and there was no elevator to the rooms on the upper floor, if we'd had lots of bags or cases it would have been a problem. Parking was difficult when we first arrived as the parking lot is shared with the diner on site, and was busy with lunch service.

Breakfast was delicious. My only complaint is that there was no non-dairy milk so I couldn't have my coffee.

I would prefer a room with no carpet, but I know that many places do not have this option.

The location was perfect for us. Close to the hospital where we had an appointment. We were pleasantly surprised at the breakfast menu. So much better than the continental breakfast we expected.

This is based on my night there. I am sure that for others it may be different. The front desk service was good , very friendly. The room was actually nice but I had a room that was from the outside ( like motels) instead of from inside and if you wanted to go to the restaurant or front desk you had to put on boots and coat. I was not comfortable with this type of room. Unfortunately you can hear the people in the rooms next to you . You park the car in front of your door and you will hear other cars when they arrive/leave. The indoor rooms were closed. The breakfast at the restaurant was good and you pick from the menu. The location is great if you want to walk around the Main Street. Restaurants close by as well.
