Good contact from owner before arrival advising of times etc. When we got there brief talk about grounds and amenities after that we were all good. Room clean and tidy smelt great with the lavender scent total relax for 12 hrs.
First night of our honeymoon. After a very wet drive down from Auckland we arrived later then we thought. We were still welcomed with a friendly smile. Even in the rain the view was absolutely gorgeous!
The accommodation itself is lovely, great facilities, beautiful views, has everything you need and is based in a beautiful area for a get-away.
Our hosts were exemplary. They should give seminars. We could not criticize any aspect of our experience and have already recommended it to friends and others .
Look, the room and stuff was ok but we really wanted to use the spa and pool but the fact that you can see straight into their living area made it rather uncomfortable for us. Plus don't get the stall because you can hear them clambering around inside. I didn't really like the service. They were nice enough just difficult to get in touch with before the stay and then slightly condescending on the day. It made it even more annoying the fact that I then had to stay in their house. If you like b&bs this place will be great - I just prefer my nights away a little less.... intimate.
Stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer, comfortably with neat view of the nearby countryside. Friendly and accommodating owner's who happily offered and assisted us with bookings in town for dinner - very enjoyable and would look forward to staying again.
We loved the Country style setting & the beautiful gardens & buildings. The management were very thoughtful & helpful even ringing just prior to our booking in. We would certainly recommend Huntington Stables & would stay again.
We had a lovely stay at The Loft. Robyn, was attentive but not intrusive. The room was more comfortable than I anticipated. It has a little balcony with a view of the hills, comfortable bathroom with tub and even a small living room. It is a very quiet location, which I loved and it is only a short drive into Cambridge and less than 30 mins to Hobbiton, and maybe about 1hr to Waitomo Caves. I would definitely recommend this place.
Best accommodation I have stayed in, both in Australia and overseas. Can't wait to make it a regular get away.
Well I have to say WOW, What an amazing place to stay. This property is just breath taking and The owner was very lovely.. She was really helpful and I would recommend that if you every travel out to Cambridge Huntington Stables is then place to stay. You won't be disappointed. The stall was very comfy and cozy :-), We only stayed for one night wish we had off had more time to stay longer. I would certainly stay here again :-)
