We had an amazing experience at Lugal, a Luxury Collection Hotel. The customer service was outstanding. They were very helpful in obtaining our luggage that was lost by the airline. The staff also made every effort to make sure our other needs were met. For example when we first arrived I had told Aysima that I was suffering from jet lag. She had the hotel bar make me a drink that was known to help with that. It was delicious. Also she had the hotel provide breakfast to go for our family when we had a very early morning flight to catch. The hotel staff provided a very large platter of fruit in the room the night before our flight. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. They always seemed to be smiling. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful. We really enjoyed the variety of coffee and tea provided in the rooms.Our whole family was very impressed with this hotel and with the people. We would definitely like to stay there again in the near future.

I stayed at the Lugal in July 2023 with my husband and 15-month old daughter and we had an excellent experience. We stayed in a King Deluxe room which was a large size for a standard hotel room and had plenty of space even with a baby crib. The baby crib provided by the hotel was a little smaller than a pack-and-play but was still plenty of space for our daughter to sleep in. The room had a nice, unobstructed view of Ankara and we saw great sunsets every night. The room had a desk, chair with ottoman, TV, king sized bed, plenty of closet space, and minibar area with fridge, nespresso machine and hot water kettle. Four bottles of water were provided for free every day. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower and plenty of counter space. Breakfast was great. You had the option of the a la carte Lugal breakfast or going to the Shearton buffet. The Lugal was slightly higher quality but the Sheraton has more options. Both restaurants had high chairs available for our daughter and the staff was so friendly and welcoming to her. Sinem at the Lugal breakfast was particularly helpful! We also used the hotel to book an airport transfer to ESB which was easy to do and a comfortable ride. Location of the hotel is great and very central. They also offer free parking in the garage underneath the hotel if you have your own car. Overall we had a great experience - I would highly recommend it.
