Everything , from the architecture to the interiors, immaculately decorated and maintained. The rooms were stunning and facilities provided perfect. The staff so accommodating, met by the manager on arrival. This was probably one of the best places I have stayed. I will return and I will recommend.

"Great value, well located and very comfortable!"

The apartment was well heated, with a lovely big comfortable bed. It had a well-equipped kitchen, sunroom overlooking the gardens and a lovely yard with tables and chairs. It was well appointed to suit the historic building, with out being overstuffed. It was great!

More detailed instructions on the bed/lounge heater would be helpful. I wasn't quite sure how to turn it off or whether it was ok to do that.

The ald style house was in perfect condition.

Was a transit location. The apartment was a little bit cold, but we didn't run the fireplace.

Its maybe the nicest accommodation we have had the pleasure of staying in. Had to leave early as hubby got sick and we felt we were disturbing the other guests.

Absolutely gorgeous restoration of an historic home with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The garden looks stunning and we could imagine ourselves sitting outside with a glass of wine in finer weather. The amazing artwork decorating the house was an added bonus. Would love to come back here.

Not just an apartment, it was a beautiful experience staying at Annesley House, the attention to detail in the furnishings were just beautiful, I just felt so content & comfortable. 5 stars in my opinion!! This is a must place to stay for a business trip or a personal getaway if you are staying in Portland!

A true deference is paid to the history of this gorgeous property by the proprietors, along with modern touches gracefully incorporated where we all appreciate them. Much thought is given for the guest experience from the practical of umbrellas and filtered water provided, to the ambience of music from a century ago drifting through and enriching the foyer and its artworks. A property that not only gives comfort but tells so many stories from within its walls and elegant gardens. Yes we really enjoyed our stay!
