Square Nine is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were all extremely attentive and helpful and just very nice people. Irene at the front desk speaks perfect English and told us everything we needed to know about getting around and what to see, made sure that the places we were going fo see would be open and is just a delightful person. The room was what you would expect. Little chocolates and slippers appear out of thin air.

The room was very confortable in all aspects. In particular the shower was very pleasant and working perfecty. Bed linen were changed daily and were amazingly perfectly ironed and immaculate, a real pleasure. Air conditioning could be regulated from the room and was working very well despite the very high temperature outside. Boiler and coffe machine were available. The room was very well insulated and quiet. There is a 18 m underground pool kept at 28 degrees and generally not crowded with a confortable relaxing area, free access for the hotel guest. The forniture in all hotel, expecially in the lobby is beautiful and unique. Service is perfect, a special mention to the very good concierge service: the 2 employees are both very knowledgeable and willing to help and were a precious source of advice on what to do and where to eat during all our stay. Breakfast area is in a small garden outside, very pleasant. Unexpectedly there is only a small buffet for breakfast, the rest is a la cart. Unusual for such a high level hotel, probably due to the relatively small number of rooms. But no problem once you get used to it, and good quality. Location is very central and almost everything is at walking distance. Price is high but adeguate to what you get. In total a very good experience and I would reccomend this hotel to anybody who has the appropriate budget.
