Very nice room, with a door/window overlooking the rear courtyard. Very clean. Breakfast in the courtyard was varied and delicious. Very helpful owners, who provided beach towels and directions, and restaurant recommendations. They also arranged taxi to and from the airport, which worked seamlessly.

Exceptionally located property in the heart of Chania. We were a few minutes walking distance from everything - delicious restaurants, the harbor, the bus stop, etc. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and kind, providing delicious and bountiful breakfasts in their picturesque garden. Fabulous way to start the day. They also took the time to orient us with the neighborhood map and provide various recommendations. They were accommodating of our schedule, securing our luggage when we arrived hours before check-in and then doing the same when we departed hours after checkout. Our room was beautifully appointed and spacious. Loved the décor and especially the twinkling stars that doubled as a nightlight. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a well-priced, conveniently-located, charming hotel in the perfect location.

This was my second visit to Chania and to this hotel. I love this hotel! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is charming and peaceful, and the location is perfect. The breakfast is fabulous, delicious, plentiful and fresh. It's so plentiful that you don't need to eat again until dinner. There are good restaurants across the street and good coffee shops on the same block. The courtyard where breakfast is held is a very pleasant and tastefully appointed spot, utilizing the historic aspects of the building. I highly recommend the Splanzia Boutique Hotel if you are visiting Chania.

Such a great place! The staff are super friendly,and always willing to help. The rooms and hotel are very clean with fresh towels daily. Tr bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is spectacular. We were expecting a choice of cereal, eggs and pancakes. Instead you get a choice of what cereal you want and eggs and pancakes! Plus a selection of freshly made pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, OJ and tea and coffee. Is located in a really great spot in Old Town close to the water and amazing restaurants.

We stayed three nights in room 13, which was so lovely. Overlooking their courtyard, and no noise at all in the night. Comfy bed, beautiful star lights on the ceiling, coffee pods, beautiful old building, family run…..so friendly and helpful and delicious breakfasts! Showed us where to go on map, happy to organise car hire if needed or tours etc. Was a really lovely location and a wonderful few days. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Hotel Splanzia for our honeymoon. The check-in process was extremely smooth and staff were attentive to all of our needs during our stay, including recommendations for restaurants. Ioannis even made us sandwiches for our hike through the Samaria Gorge - very thoughtful. The breakfasts were delicious, with a variety of food choices and lots to eat. The location is perfect for exploring Chania and a great jumping off point for exploring Crete overall. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Chania!

Personnel adorable et chaleureux Hotel parfait.

Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité du centre historique avec possibilité de se garer dans la rue facilement mais c'était en juin. Très bon accueil, chambre spacieuse et donnant sur la cour intérieure, au calme. Petit déjeuner excellent servi à table. Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente au mieux pour un agréable séjour.

Extremely friendly and warm faculty run hotel. Amazing fresh breakfast. Thoroughly recommend. Our Room was not quite boutique design but very clean and comfortable

No coffee, water included in room rate. Staff were very nice and helpful. Great location to old city.
