Great location (M6) Rooms a little dated (tiny T.V's) but always spotlessly clean. Great shower.

Attended here for a wedding. It’s a good venue, and really comfortable room

Our evening meal was really good served by efficient and friendly staff.

Our room was very close to the main road. We were told by the receptionist that it would be quiet at night but in reality many trucks, lorries and farm machinery passed by creating a lot of noise throughout the night.

Very atmospheric. Cosy bar. Room overlooking the garden. Bird song in the morning.

Breakfast was a bid odd. I am vegetarian. I was offered veggie sausages, when breakfast came there were none and I was told there were none. Surely that was known beforehand. Tofu was on the menu, but when it arrived it was uncooked, just a bland white lump on the plate. Could have been crispy fried or some other way to make it interesting. But I liked fresh spinach on the plate.

This is the first time I’ve stayed at Slaters Inn but it won’t be my last. Its first-class rating is well-deserved, thanks to the staff, who are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are excellent, and the overall vibe of the hotel is perfect. I’ll definitely be back.

Lovely stay. Room was ideal for a night away for my husbands birthday. Breakfast was okay.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Evening meal offered a wide choice of food, portion sizes very good.
