This hotel offers a real touch of luxury. It is bright, fresh and clean and even when it is full you have a feeling of space. The entertainment team are fun and friendly (but not pushy) and the bar staff are amazing. The rooms could do with a few more hangers in the wardrobe and the pool was a little cool this time.

"Modern renovated beach hotel in a popular area"

This family friendly resort hotel on the beach has been remodeled and is in beautiful condition. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet excellent. Most guests appeared to be families from Greece or other European countries, but the staff all spoke excellent English. The beach is narrow and a bit rocky, but there are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas and the water is warm and quite swimmable. The pool is beautiful but used mostly by kids. The guest room was clean with good closet space. The bathroom set-up is a bit unusual in that there is essentially no door and thus no privacy. The toilet and the shower are both behind frosted glass doors that open to the double sink area. Water pressure is good and there is plenty of hot water. We were there for a large wedding, and other guests stayed at several other nearby hotels. All had complaints about their lodgings which cost them at least as much; we did not. Be aware that this part of Chalkidis is crowded in the Summer; this is not a secluded spot by any means and the small town which is in easy walking distance is touristy and lacks the charm of island villages. If you're staying in this part of Chalkidis, the Grecotel Pela Beach is an excellent choice.

Wonderful hotel on the beach. Lovely Swimmimg pool although not heated. Staff friendly and courteous. Best breakfast I have ever had. So much choice.
