"Excellent Holiday"

Had a great time, position of hotel is superb for access to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants etc. Under the present circumstances with Covid 19, it is very difficult for hotels but our stay was made as normal as possible within the restrictions in place. It was a very pleasant stay, the hotel was spotless and we felt very safe. We would definitely return here in the future and have recommended the Egryn to family and friends already.

"Egryn hotel"

Lovely place to stay but disappointed with a few things had to have breakfast in room due to COVID but had to perch on bed only one chair small things but all add up.. light bulb gone / shower door awkward to close/rusty toilet brush holder. Plenty of tea and coffee/extra showering stuff so very pleased about that. Proprietors very friendly we have stayed there before as its in a convenient spot and fairly quiet would definitely stay again

"Attitude"

The hotel was fine, although it was pricey at £155 a night. Breakfast was served to your room due to COVID guidelines and The sausage sandwich was very nice. However we ordered toast and a croissant but there was no butter or jam. The room was clean but the shower needs replacing as it does not turn off very easily. The one concern I have is with the owner - he was quite rude to us. We arrived at the hotel early and went to ask if our room might be ready. The answer we received was a sarcastic “you will not be checking in until 4pm”. My mum asked if she could use the toilet as we had been travelling for 3 hours - he said no, but did relent begrudgingly. On our departure he followed us and showed us a picture of what looked like an envelope, and made a scarcastic comment about paying for the room - I told him that we had already paid but he insisted on checking and made us feel like criminals. He had a very dislikable way with him Which will impact on any decision we make about going back.

Had a fantastic stay at the Egryn. Bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in, room was very clean and breakfast was superb. Will be staying here again.
