Breakfast was good, many options and good quality. The location was also good, very quiet at night which is great. You wake up to the sounds of the birds and monkeys.

The refilling of breakfast items was a bit slow. Maybe offering free body lotion, and other personal care items would be nice. It's quite pricey, but everything in the area is expensive...

Excelente hotel. Adoramos e superou as expectativas. O quarto que ficamos era bem espaçoso e super limpo. Excelente qualidade da cama, roupas de cama e toalhas. Tinha água, cafeteira e pó de café no quarto. Gostamos muito disso. O hotel como um todo aparenta ser muito gostoso. Ficamos apenas 2 noites e não conseguimos aproveitar. Ficamos com vontade de voltar para ficar uns dias e curtir o hotel e suas inúmeras atividades. Café da manhã muito gostoso servido em buffet. Wifi funcionou muito bem. Vimos bicho preguiça na frente da recepção. Melina nos atendeu muito bem.

Não é que não gostei, mas saiba que ali será importante esta de carro para se locomover. Fica a 18km de La fortuna. Estradinha boa até lá.

The property was beautiful and the houses were quite luxurious.

One night after dinner, we found a cockroach scurrying around our room. We tried to catch it but it slipped into the bamboo bed frame. Staff came to look for it and were unsuccessful. Fortunately, they were nice enough to offer us another room to stay in, however within 5 mins of arriving, we saw another cockroach in the bathroom. During checkout, the staff weren’t very sympathetic saying “yeah what do you expect, we’re in the jungle”. I felt like this was a bit dismissive since this was a very nice resort. I noticed the buildings did a poor job of keeping the pests out (holes under doorways and drains). We stayed at many hotels during our trip and this was the only place where we saw cockroaches.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage mitten im Regenwald. Pure Erholung. Grosse Zimmer mit einer grossen Terrasse zum Chillen. Einfaches aber sehr gutes Essen.

Leider konnten wir am 1. Morgen kein Frühstück geniessen. An der Rezeption wurde uns gesagt dass es ab 06.00 Frühstück gibt, leider war dem nicht so, wurden recht unfreundlich weggewiesen, dass es erst um 07.00 Frühstück gibt 🤷‍♀️ mussten dann um 06.30 ohne Frühstück auf unseren Ausflug los. 2. Regenwald Trail schlecht unterhalten. Baumstämme liegen auf dem Weg, so dass man darüber klettern muss, dabei ist mir einen dicken Ast auf den Kopf gefallen.

Exceptional surroundings. We saw more birds by ourselves here, than on guided tours. Don’t miss the birds being fed at the feeding station at 6.15am. We spent 3 hours on the trails - thoroughly recommended. Facilities good, free coffee available with view over area where we saw monkeys, squirrels and birds. Very comfy room.

Breakfast was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.

De locatie is helemaal top. Veel mooie vogels zijn er te zien. En ook luiaards. Personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. Ik zou de birdwatching tour bij het hotel aanraden. Een superservice was dat wij zonder kosten zijn geupgrade. Wij zaten in huisje 14, helemaal top. Verder ook dichtbij La Fortuna.

Niet veel. Wat wel handig zou zijn is een klein koelkastje op de kamer. Wij zaten in 2 huisjes en die ontbrak in beiden. Eten is verder iets prijzig maar even buiten het hotel kun je ook een hapje doen. Daar zijn trouwens ook supermarkten.

Absolutely everything. The welcoming was amazing. We booked by mistake a day before and we could change the date without paying more. Then we received an upgraded room. The view to the lake is breathtaking. Also the warm pool was a hit.
