Hôtel Vieille Tour Centre Rouen

La chambre est trop petite le matelas n'est pas confortable, la moquette laisse à désirer la seule prise électrique ne fonctionne pas. on a même pas pu charger nos portables. la douche et les toilettes sont trop petites, vétustes et sales.

J'ai été obligé de demander une autre chambre, car celle proposée était​ fournie avec des excréments dans les WC. Les parties communes sont remplis de poils d animaux ou autres.....

I stayed there for 2 nights just after Easter; had just booked for 1. I arrived on my motorbike, friendly guy waved me to come, moved his car and gestured for me to park in his space. Cheap & Cheerful

Hotel was very poor. The room was in a tatty state with plug sockets hanging by the wires, toilet seat broken, bathroom shower cubicle didn't work. Breakfast was very basic (continental style). Although relatively inexpensive it was just as well we only stayed one night!

Very central hotel, only 1 minute away from Rouen Cathedral. Located in a very quiet street. I was not in Rouen as a tourist but was very happy with the location of the hotel. Basic room, comfortable and clean. The shower was not too powerful but did the job. As I arrived in Rouen on the 14th July (their national holiday), there was nobody at the reception but there was an envelope with my name on and inside there was the key and the code for the door. Really thoughtful!

It is worth to visit and walk around. All great shops and good restaurants are there . A romantic and causy ambience . From down Quai de Mont Blanc up to the place is full of small bars and boutiques. And you can just seat and have a wonderful coffee and croissant .

Hotel is basic but clean and satisfactory - well-positioned and practical for centre of Rouen. The area is clean and safe and would be fine for a budget family stay too. Happy to recommend this hotel.

First impression is quite basic (no armchair) but all worked well (very hot water 24 hrs). I am parially sighted and need a rollator to walk which had to be folded to go into the small lift - but there is a lift! My various devices need charging and an adaptor plug was provided for the local sockets (which my reader didn't like) but the proprietress went well beyond what one would expect, looking up phone numbers for me and printing them out in large, bold font to help me. My hotel was very quiet at night, unlike my daughter and son-in-law's which was very noisy - and much further from the car park.The sheets and towels were well-laundered and inviting and changed frequently.

I asked for a parking space - which appeared to be offered on the site. None available, only public car park. Difficult to find using a sta nav. Worst of all - tiny bed which rolls you togehter. I thought these had been abolished years ago. My wife suffered from the effects for several days. The only positive point was that they made no fuss when we said we couldn't endure another night. Actually the room itself was quite pleasant but the modernisation attempt had stopped half way leaving a dirty ventilator and pipes hanging off the wall.

just spent 1 night (too many) at this hotel, booked superior room, it was anything but, it was dirty blankets were dirty bathroom was seperated by a curtain this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, had it not been so late on arrival I would not have stayed it was disgusting
