"Tired but cheap"

We were cycle touring and needed somewhere to stay that could accommodate a secure storage for our tandem. The reception was closed when we arrived, despite it being after our 1400hrs check in time, however when I rang the number the staff member said that they would be there in about 10 minutes to check us in. It was only after he arrived that he informed us that on a Sunday the reception does not usually open until 1800hrs, so we were grateful for him in accommodating us. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep.

As mentioned in previous reviews, this place is rather down at heel and in dire need of a refurbishment, as it is very tired looking in respect to furnishings etc. However, it was cheap and the room was clean, the bathroom looked to have been updated and the shower was decent and hot.
